First Responders – Police, Fire, Paramedics, EMTs, Search and Rescue, and 911 Dispatch. Our community’s front line of support. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, these dedicated individuals answer every call, every time.

But who do these First Responders call when it’s their turn for some relief? How do they sign off and take a break from the duty of serving others?

Little Bit’s First Responder Program is tailored to meet the unique needs of this community through group Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) sessions. This type of experiential work provides the participants the opportunity to practice skills like emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and active problem-solving while engaging with the Little Bit herd.

Sessions in 2024 are held on Saturdays beginning in April.
