Our Annual Corporate Strides and Community Partner Award Winners

 

Each year, Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center recognizes outstanding organizations for going above and beyond through volunteer service and/or financial contributions to support the Little Bit mission. We honor these organizations’ dedication to exceptional volunteerism, commitment, philanthropy, and ongoing support of the Little Bit mission.

2024

Our 2024 Community Partner Award winner, Eastside Community Aid Thrift Shop, has supported Little Bit since 2010, including horse sponsorships and shop coupons for Little Bit participants who receive tuition aid to receive Little Bit services. Eastside Community Aid Thrift Shop is an allvolunteer-run non-profit thrift boutique in Kirkland. Its volunteers strive to create a shop that promotes community and kindness for all shoppers. Sales become funds to go back into the community through their nonprofit partnerships.

Our 2024 Corporate Strides Award winner, Microsoft, has supported Little Bit since 1998 through its employee matching gift program as well as multiple volunteer workgroups each year since 2012 to help maintain Little Bit’s facilities and property. In addition, many Microsoft employees and their partners or spouses volunteer weekly at Little Bit in support of our programs. Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. In its hometown, Microsoft Philanthropies works to expand inclusive economic opportunity, promote technology and AI solutions for good, and improve the overall quality of life for people in the community.
