Jane Todaro, MD
Jane Todaro, MD, is a retired Pediatric Gastroenterologist and an avid horseback rider. Horses and riding have been lifelong passions.
When she first started practicing medicine in Seattle, she cared for a severely disabled child who sadly died at age 5. At the funeral the chaplain spoke about the importance of Little Bit in the child's life and the joy that LB brought to him. Jane thought, "When I retire, I will join that organization.” And I did. I have served on the Board twice now, first years ago and now once again.
“Little Bit provides both psychological and physical benefits to its clients. Riding aids proprioception and core strength, and in some cases helps individuals learn to walk independently. And the pleasures gleaned from touching a horse, petting a horse, and/or brushing a horse, have their own magic.”
“It is an honor to be a member of the Little Bit Board of Trustees.”
